China today is not as in the past

Must look to this ancient and Nguetdy and are on pace to see the population of this state where each individual product and not the consumer, like most peoples of the world who want to luxuriate only most of the peoples of the world are looking on the use and acquisition of things and not searching for the means to acquire these things

See this story well: China is willing to get loans from West Germany and other European countries and the United States and Japan was the headline in the Washington Post published on August 25, 1979

Now things are very different

Colbert King, a member of the Board of Directors of the International Monetary Fund in 1979 King said that China today, which he visited last week, do not carry signs in 1979 that China wished to join the International Monetary Fund and World Bank, but a little bit.

And everybody would think the 1979 looks forward to economic reform and access to foreign capital after years of disastrous policies caused by the arbitrary rule of Mao Zedong, and policies directed towards the inside which was dictated by the Communist regime

International Monetary Fund discussed the membership of China in 1980, the Chinese government suffers from a deficit of six billion dollars, and now has reserves of 2.5 trillion dollars of foreign exchange, the largest in the world and exports in the last month by 44% compared to the same month last year to 138 billion dollars in while imports rose 34.2% to 117 billion dollars to enjoy a trade surplus of more than 20 billion dollars compared with the total trade of China in 1979, about 28 billion U.S. dollars

China's third-largest economy in the world is on track to replace Japan for second place and compete with the United States in the first place, after reaching its gross domestic product in 2009 to 5 trillion dollars

Colbert says that the King in his visit, which fly from Beijing to Shanghai was talking to the President of Northwestern University, U.S. economic Morton Shapiro, who traveled to China many times and gave lectures

Shapiro said it has been since the late eighties of the last century to the present day replace most of the Chinese bikes that fill the streets of the capital of the cars that are now within reach for more than four million cars. As not to miss the names of most of Beijing Luxury Hotels International

Shapiro said his estimates for economic growth in the eighties and a quarter of what has been done on the ground now

King says Shapiro, that view that the views of many economists that the decision to confirm the Chinese leader Deng Xiaoping and the liberalization of the economy and accession to the international community to promote economic growth and China's ability to compete in the world.

Shapiro and his students are advised today by seeking to know China. Study in China is now at the University of Northwestern in the United States alone, 900 students, the university is considering 20 programs from China
